Um, i know the contrasting fluro green banner text, accented Nicoles fluro green top,.. but i just think making use of this contrasting colour,..fluro green to dark pink,...to much on a page,... tends to divert the eye from the banner to the large spaces of fluro green. It should be the other way around, the surrounding colour should draw your eye to the banner, and the site content. It works well on the site content pages, but just not so well as a surrounding colour for the site. Perhaps a darker shading of teh green would have worked better.
I mean, colour works also as pairs, one complimenting the other. This complimenting relationship, can be studied to the nth degree, accouting from everyone from colour blind users, to people without brains using the site,.....but it was just my opinion that perhaps a surrounding darker shade would compliment nicoles fluro green top, and the banner fluro green text better, and draw the eye from the large areas of light fluro green back to the banner and site content. It worked on the site content, and mostly uses a gradient, why not use the darker of this gradient instead.
